An Expression on his guru has been published in the famous book ‘Shishyaru Kandante Gurugalu’ published by Karnataka Sahitya Parishath.

Composed more than 100 compositions in Kannada and Sanskrit with ‘Venkata Dasa’ as his penname which includes krithis, Varnas and thillans including newly invented ragas like Ramakrishna, Vivekavani etc.

Has penned a new raga called ‘Padmanabhapriya’ in which he has composed a thillana in dedication to his guru Sri. R.K. Padmanabha.

Composed music and background score for a famous audio book ‘Sandhya Raga’ by Aa.Na.Kru.

Conceptualized and scripted many musical plays like ‘My Life is my message’- on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Kranti - Life of Bhagat Singh, Sangharsha – Values of a true activist.

Taken part himself in many musical dramas like Naada, Shyama Shastrigalu, Nadajyoti Tyagaraja, Vadiraja Darshana, Vadiraja Vaibhava, Purandara Namana.

Played a major role in organizing the grand ‘Sri Ramasamrajya Pattabhishekha’ – A resplendent 25 day celebration and a beautiful amalgamation of Vedas and Upanishads and the Indian Art.

Organized the 80th Ramotsava at the modernized N.R. Colony Rama Mandira with his father Sri. K.N. Venkatanarayana in the year 2018 which focused primarily on Indian Art by providing a platform for the young and upcoming artists.

Organized an art and music extravaganza ‘Yuva Kala Pratibhotsava’ in 2007 which provided a platform for 175 young performers in all art forms.

PERFORMANCES
Krishna Prasad is one of those complete performers whose concerts are the product of a joyful and intelligent mind. His music has the purity of tradition and the creativity of a noteworthy artist. There are artists that go into the trance while they perform, but there are very few artists who take the audience with them. Krishna Prasad is one such nadopasaka.
Endowed with a resonant voice, he re affirms his pre-eminence as a front ranking musician. Perfect shruthi, pure classicism and elegant presentations mark his performances.
Performances in prestigious sabhas across the country and abroad continue to bring glory to this young artist whose potential is beyond and fervor unmatchable.

Karnataka Ganakala Parishat, Bangalore Gayana Samaja , Sri Rama Seva Mandali - Fort High School, Malleshwaram Sangeeta Sabha, Nadabrahma Sangeeta Sabha, Trivandrum Abhedananda Ashram, Kaladi Shankar Mutt, Shanmugananda Sangeeta Sabha Mumbai, Krishna Gana Sabha Chennai, and many more across Bellary, Kolar, Hassan, Belur, Shimoga, Hubli, Tumkur etc. Additionally he has performed in radio channels (Radio One, Big FM, Akashvaani, Jaana Vaani) and Television programmes for channels like ETV Kannada, Zee Kannada, Chandana, Shankara and Udaya.
Performances Abroad: Singapore Fine Arts(SIFA), Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC etc. He was applauded with a standing ovation at the prestigious AKKA Sammelana and NAVIKA where his concerts have become a yearly tradition. He has also won accolades for conducting workshops on foundation of music, vaggeyakaras, sahityakaras, haridasas and many more for the children at SIFA and various places across the U.S.
